Aisle Show You: This is Halloween (at Target)

Halloween is out in full force at Target. The non-candy trick-or-treat section has unfortunately shrunk from an entire aisle down to a single endcap this year. But that doesn't mean there aren't still some good finds.

There's a Batman from The Dark Knight Rises in [strangely appropriate] Halloween colors as well as the classic LEGO ghost and three-packs of S.L.U.G. Zombies series 2.

If anyone actually gives out these $4+ toys to trick-or-treaters, please let me know so I can come knocking on your door this year. Or, more likely, I'll wait until November 1st and scoop up as much as I can at Target for 50% off.

Batman Begins Hot Toys Movie Masterpiece Series Demon Batman and Scarecrow 12-inch Figure Set are now available for pre-order from Sideshow Collectibles.

Update: The initial pre-order has sold out, but the wait list is available. The earlier you sign up for the wait list, the better your chances will be of having your order fulfilled. People actually have great success with Sideshow's wait list. Since so many great (and expensive) toys come out over the course of a year, sometimes hard decisions have to be made and pre-orders routinely end up canceled.

Batman: The Brave and the Bold Proto Bat-Bot

Proto Bat-Bot, the large scale vehicle-figure hybrid from the Batman: The Brave and the Bold cartoon is available for $9 during Amazon's year-end clearance sale. Proto was voiced by TV's Batman Adam West during his stint on the hit Cartoon Network program.

Although his screen time was limited to only one episode, the adventures of Proto continue thanks to toonanet.com and their Action Figure comix. In this latest issue, Proto battles the villianeous Toyman alongside both Batman and Superman.
